What "are" we. That's a trickier question than you might
think. Genesis occupies a rather unique "niche" in the industry - we have no network, no switches, no equipment of any kind. We are not a carrier, nor are we a broker, aggregator, nor a reseller. "Telecom Consulting Firm" would probably be the least inaccurate, but to call us a "Consulting Firm" would be akin to calling Michelangelo' s work on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel a "painting" (Ok, so maybe that was a little dramatic. We can be a little dramatic sometimes - please accept our apologies. Dramatic but accurate.). Now you know what we're not.

We didn't just "think outside the box". We reinvented it.
 
Because of the nature, depth and breadth of our services, what we
are is a little harder to define - we were, after all, the first company of our kind. While a brave handful of others have attempted to emulate us, based on what our clients have told us about their past experiences, none have succeeded. We respect their efforts and view them as a compliment. As the saying goes, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". If you had to put us in a "box", it would be the one labeled "Off Site Telecommunications Management Company" - it's a box we conceived and constructed, and 12 years later, it still has a population of exactly...one. Genesis Telemanagement.

Is there a Doctor in the house...

Our primary role is to assist you in managing this facet of your business by providing you with an educated and truly objective perspective - objectivity coupled with an intimate knowledge of all of the best possible options that are available to address each of the unique requirements specific to your business and it's telecommunications needs. For example, if we determine Qwest to be the very best choice for your dedicated voice needs, AT&T for your DIA, and Paetec for your MPLS, then that's what we'll recommend and, upon your approval, ultimately provide. And we'll provide these services with pricing you couldn't get directly from any of them. We know that you can't possibly choose the best solution(s) if you don't have a choice (more on this subject at our
"The Big Difference" page). Throw into the mix a dozen years of vast and diverse experience with different applications in different telecom intensive industries and the clout required to secure pricing from top tier carriers that no individual "end user" could acquire on its own, and the picture starts to come into focus. Not entirely unlike your favorite Doctor, we provide accurate diagnosis and prescribe the best remedy. That's what we do here.

We're omnipresent. Now there's a word you don't hear everyday.

What might take some getting used to is that we won't occupy an office in your building, and we're not going to be on your payroll. Because we're not "hardware" guys, the fact that we are not physically present is of no consequence - remember, the facilities for local, LD, Data, and Internet are physically provided by the LECs and IXCs. Since they're all Network Services, nothing we do requires our physical presence - it can all be done "remotely" via phone and email. If you have multiple locations, we're at all of them. Wherever you are, we function as if we were "down the hall" from you, but we take up no space and cost you nothing. Best of all worlds.

to instead give you some idea of what separates us from our theoretical competitors: First of all, unlike the typical "carrier sales rep" who works for their employer (AT&T, MCI, etc.), we work for you - our client.  From the analysis of your particular application / monthly telecom expenditures and the development and recommendation of the ideal solution, all the way through the deployment and implementation phases of the process, your best interests are our only concern and our singular focus. And where our competitors consider their job to be "done" when you sign the paperwork, ours is just beginning. We will oversee the order entry, provisioning, engineering, and deployment processes. We'll be on the call with the carrier and your tech when the circuits are turned up and put into service. And we'll be there whenever you need anything related to the services we've provided you. Anytime, every time.

Your own personal Unicorn. And you thought they didn't exist...

Think about it what all of this means to you - no more sitting through countless meetings or phone calls with sales reps from multiple carriers trying to do the due diligence necessary to gather enough information to figure out who has the product or service that would be best for you. No more huge volume commitments and ridiculously long term agreements in order to get the best pricing. No more sifting through fine print looking for terms or conditions the sales guy "forgot" to mention. And you'll never again have to navigate your way through an IVR just to talk to some "customer service rep" if you need something or have an issue of some sort, whether it's service related or just a question about your invoice. A customer service rep who most often doesn't know who you are or even understand your application. Unless of course you want to. Otherwise, just call us - we're your single point of contact for all  of the services you need, regardless of who the carrier is. And we answer our phones. We return calls and emails promptly. We'll be there when you need us. Always. Just as if we were... well...down the hall.
